Warming Stripes of Quai de la Georgette

Located on Quai de la Georgette in the heart of the Old Port, the Warming Stripes installation is a striking visual artwork raising awareness about climate change. Inspired by climatologist Ed Hawkins, it features a sequence of colored stripes ranging from blue to red, representing temperature changes since the industrial era. Stretching about 80 meters, this ground-level installation is the first of its kind in France and attracts attention in a highly frequented area. Designed as both an artistic and educational tool, it encourages visitors to reflect on the urgency of climate issues in a simple and accessible way.
