Sculpture Treball

Created in 1928 by Llucià Oslé, this bronze sculpture was commissioned together with its twin La Saviesa for the 1929 International Exhibition. It depicts a nude worker, holding a hammer, struggling to control a spirited horse. Together with his brother Miquel, Llucià Oslé often worked four-handed. Their style, both classical and energetic, is characterized by social themes and a strong dynamism, setting them apart from academic noucentisme and closer to a realistic and expressive vision of the working world.
