The Fountain of the Children

The Fountain of the Naked Children, created in 1893 by Josep Reynés, is a white marble fountain in the Ciutadella Park. It depicts young children climbing a large vase placed in the middle of a pond. Considered one of the park’s most popular works, it is admired for the delicacy of its execution and the dynamism of the scene, expressing the spontaneity and freedom of childhood play.
