Montserrat Roig Gardens

Created in tribute to the writer and journalist Montserrat Roig i Fransitorra (1946–1991), these gardens occupy the former site of the Damm brewery’s bottling area. They honor both the memory of a major Catalan cultural figure and the industrial history of the neighborhood. The space, arranged on several levels, combines green areas, playgrounds, and pedestrian walkways. Today, it serves as a place for relaxation and social gathering, where literary heritage and workers’ memory blend within a peaceful urban setting.
